Things we should know about the club dresses
The contrary can look great with a smarter outfit or super casual night on the town. If we are going for them though, make sure that they are not at that frayed, scruffy stage. Those can look grand with a grungy, relaxed outfit, but not for the club. If that fails, try going for some slim fit trainers in a clean white. They will go with a whole range of outfits and give off a stylized, slick look without looking too over-polished.
So in general accessories are not the kind of things we pile on before we go to a club. Bags, caps, jeweler, and sunglasses are just extra baggage and not something we want weighing us down. However, for the sake of convenience, a simple watch can be really handy. It means we do not have to constantly take out our phone to check the time, and that in turn means there is less risk of us getting it nicked.
A nice watch can really carry an outfit. Simple is good but making sure it is well made is the main thing. We do not want to spend £40 on a watch and then be replacing the strap every five minutes, it is just not economical.
What to wear to a bar
So what to wear to a club, men? Unavoidably sometimes a trip to a club ends up with a trip to a bar as well. If we are the type of person who ends the night at the pre-drinking stage, without ever getting to the club, then we will go over some of the outfits we could try out.
Men’s club dresses tend to fall in the casual style, but when it comes to dressing for a bar we can afford to go for clothes that are a little sleeker. We are not suggesting anything too full on, but replacing our jeans with some slim fit chinos is a nice way to pull an outfit together. Something that is always gratifying, easy to accessories and naturally stylish is to match a simple black T-shirt with a pair of chinos and finish off with some Chelsea boots and a classic leather jacket.
If we would rather go for a bit more color or a slightly more casual vibe, then ignore the chinos situation and just go for some comfortable jeans instead. There is an infinite amount of ways we can dress up jeans, but if we are looking for something simplistic and failsafe then try brightening up our look with a few key pieces like bright jeans, a bomber jacket or a simple white T-shirt.
What to wear to a lounge
So for any of us who are wondering, a lounge is basically just a fancier version of a bar. They often feature plusher seating areas, fancier drinks, what some people would describe as a ‘better class of clientele’ – and stricter dress codes. If we are splashing out at a night at one of these places then it is best to spruce up a bit, however, there is no need to go for a full suit and tie look.
To achieve a look that is both smart but not too over the top, the classic combination of a T-shirt and blazer is a good option. Keep the colors uncomplicated and versatile, and either goes for trousers that match with the blazer or opt for some slim fit jeans for a smart casual vibe.
